1. Teachers should allow expression of ideas and feelings by facilitating activities rather than imposing their own standards of beauty.
2. Build a non-threatening environment that encourages the child’s natural artistic instincts to emerge.
3. Set the physical and affective climate of the classroom in way that it makes it conducive for art production / appreciation.
4. Encourage creative expression by displaying outputs of all children without bias.
5. Remember to praise efforts of all the children equally and generously.
